Stirling Power, LLC, doing business as HB Marine, is an energy systems company engaged in the development and marketing of clean power and propulsion systems for marine applications using patented hydrogen-based technologies. HB Marine’s proprietary systems offer odor- and pollution-free motoring and auxiliary power, quiet (almost silent) operation, independence from shore resources, and a robust and safe design.
Sailors will no longer be dependent upon ports of call for fuel and clean drinking water, nor will their families be exposed to the sound and stench of diesel and the engine room will become a pleasant complement to the fine woods and fabrics that commonly adorn luxury yachts.

Management Team
Gary G. Brandt is Founder and Chairman of HB Marine and Stirling Power, LLC. Brandt is a proven C-Level executive and entrepreneur with over 28 years of leadership experience in high technology environments, including Renewable Energy and Telecommunications. Brandt has demonstrated expertise in developing and leading effective strategic planning processes and transitioning research and development organizations to become market oriented manufacturers. As the former CEO of Solomon Technologies, Inc. and former CFO of Hydrogenics Corporation, Brandt has experience working with hydrogen fuel cells, electrolyzers, electric motors and power conversion technologies, which comprise the key technologies being offered by HB Marine.
Brandt is joined by: co-founder of HB Marine, Mr. John Nelson, an avid sailor and experienced entrepreneur; Mr. Bruce E. Wood, Managing Director; Mr. Tom Jannsen, Director Finance; and Mr. Bruce McVittie, Director Corporate Development; among others.

In addition to the team above, HB Marine is fortunate to have a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and experienced team of advisors to provide it with the counsel and advice needed to make the company a success. This interdisciplinary group includes members from the industries and disciplines that may be affected by the HB Marine technology as well as from the general business world.
Corporate Structure
As a Limited Liability Corporation formed in 2008, Stirling Power, LLC is currently owned by Brandt Enterprises, Inc. as a sole member. Founder John W. Nelson and the rest of the members of HaveBlue LLC are due to receive a contingent payment related to the transfer of the assets to Stirling Power, LLC.
History and Achievements
Founded in Ventura County, California, HaveBlue LLC (“HaveBlue”) was a forward-looking, energy systems company, engaged in the development of patents related to hydrogen-based technology for providing power and propulsion for marine vessels. Stirling Power, LLC doing business as HB Marine has acquired the assets of HaveBlue. Using its newly acquired proprietary technology, HB Marine expects to develop and offer turnkey systems for the recreational sailboat and powerboat markets. In addition, HB Marine’s technology has potentially far-reaching commercial, defense and scientific applications. As compared to traditional diesel and gasoline systems, HB Marine’s hydrogen-powered systems provide numerous benefits to the marine market.
